Spencer's grandfather was known for collecting and trading hood ornaments, and he learned valuable lessons from peering through that glass display case and drawing endlessly. Emulating these recognizable icons and branching out accordingly set him on a course of persistent creation, with intentions of creating clean, accessible, distinct, memorable works that communicate efficiently.
